Took a nice long walk Sunday. Sun, lots of flowers, generally very pleasant. Saw a giant yellow and orange and black bumble bee, enjoyed the scent of wisteria, got slightly dehydrated. All in all, pretty good.

In back, my lily of the valley is blooming, pure white and fragrant. And my camas is sending up a flower stalk as well, which surprises me. Apparently the squirrel didn't dig quite far enought to eat the bulb? Or this was a side bulb the rodent missed? Either way, I'm happy to see it, and looking forward to the pretty blue flowers.

Keeping an eye on the weather forcast, trying to figure out when I can safely put my orchids outside. Soon, very soon, I think.

Oh, I meant the last tall plant, but if you know the geraniums....

Also also, do you fancy a weekend trip to Heronswood this season, with me and a friend of mine?

Looks like someone else got to the plants before me, and got them all. :)

The trip--perhaps. I tend not to go to nurseries because I have no garden to put the shiny things in. :(

I tend not to go because I don't have $ for the pretties this year. *snif* I'll let you know if plans jell.

This might not do you any particular good, because of the trouble of getting here (Maple Leaf) and the issue of not having your babies clustered comfortingly around your feet, but if you want plant space outdoors or in our basement, I am of a temperament highly favorable toward housing such items, and I might even water them.
