It was pointed out to me that the acronym for Singles Awareness Day is 'SAD'. I find this amusingly appropriate. :)

Mine wasn't particularly sad though, which was nice. Many thanks to the friends who made this so. :)

My new theory is that if one is single, it is best to ignore the presence of Singles Awareness Day entirely, and just do fun stuff with friends.

I agree with that theory, even not being single. Marketing-based romantic holidays just don't do much for me.
