on the ownership of cats

My roommate and I were observing the other day that I seem to have acquired her cats. One of them seems to prefer curling up in my lap to curling up in hers (and is in my lap pretty much any time I'm sitting still, including now), and the other sleeps on my bed all night (despite occasionally being accidentally kicked in my sleep).

It's awfully nice of her that she pays for my cats' food and cleans out their litter box and takes them to the vet and such things.

indeed; verdant definitely appears to be a cat magnet. ;-)
